Flowers can be found everywhere at a wedding – from bouquets and boutonnieres, to flower petals down the aisle at the ceremony, and even artistic floral creation for table centerpieces. Flowers hold a very special place in weddings and events. They add extra color, texture, contrasts, shapes, sizes and feeling to your special day.
-So, here are more reasons for you to prove that flowers are worth it!
1.Elevates the gorgeousness of your photos. During your wedding you will take tons of pictures. The ceremony is one of the most photographed moments of a wedding and it is one of the best things to look back on afterwards. Whenever I see pictures from my own wedding ceremony pictures all those feels and emotions come rushing back. And the beautify of the day and of our ceremony setting almost takes my breath away again just as it did the day I became a wife. Pictures of you and your loved ones against a one-of-a-kind floral backdrop are worthy of being framed and displayed.
2.The flowers always reflect that decision, even if you have not seen any other decorations yet other than the flowers.
The choice of the flowers may even begin during the courtship…during one of the exciting days in a new relationship, flowers arrive at “her” job…from the new man in her life. Sometimes the first flowers that are received are the same floral choice that is used in the wedding as a memory of their beginning together. Whether it is the same color or the same flower…a woman never forgets these things.
4. Flowers do have specific symbolism and meaning. The colors chosen also have specific meanings, but a Bride always remembers the flowers that were sent to her. Flowers can be used for many components of a wedding such as sending flowers to the Bride or Groom the night before, during the wedding itself, a Corsage to be worn at the Bridal Shower, or a Balloon Bouquet Centerpiece. The wedding flowers can be far more than the Bridal Bouquet, the Boutonnieres, and the Corsages.
5.The Bridal Bouquet is always an important part, but keep in mind that there are Flower Girl baskets, the decorations of the facility where the wedding is held, and the decorations where the reception is being held. In the chapel, even the alter can be adorned with florals, the pews can have bows or fresh flowers on the end of each of them. During the ceremony, an arch might be requested, and that too can be decorated with fresh flowers.
-Now I would like to guide you through How much do wedding flowers cost?
Typically, wedding flowers, decor, and lighting comprise about eight percent of a couple’s total wedding budget—so be sure to plan to spend accordingly!
1.Depending on your style and needs, your wedding flowers cost will vary, but the average cost of wedding flowers on Italian Riviera is around €1,500 with most couples spending between €700 and €2,500. Note that there is a wide range for the cost of wedding flowers, which is based on both where you’re getting married as well as the types and quantities of flowers you want for your wedding day. Remember that certain flowers are seasonal. If we can obtain them - it may be at a very high price. Upper range from €3200 or more!
Ligurian coast is an “EVENT RIVIERA”, therefore sometimes our local providers are sold out. Flower Jam is using only direct growers from all over the world, three times a week suply makes all our flowers fresh and available.
The hotel chapels usually have upper scale flowers such as lilies, other color roses, gardenias etc. that may be included in their packages. You need to consider, “What do you really want” and prepare to order ahead for specialty flowers and colors.
The average cost of flowers for a wedding varies so widely because there are so many different types of flowers! The most expensive flowers include peonies, gardenias, and hydrangeas. If you’re on a tight wedding flower budget, using lots of greenery is an affordable (and on-trend!) way to decorate your reception. Other inexpensive flowers include freesia, baby’s breath, roses (not garden roses, though), daisies, and carnations.
2.When it comes to bridal bouquets, the cost will vary depending on the types of flowers you want to include, and the arrangement’s size and complexity. The average cost of a bridal bouquet is €140.
3.Bridesmaid bouquets tend to be smaller and less expensive than bridal bouquets. The average cost for a bridesmaid bouquet is €60.
If the average price for wedding flowers seems high, there are several easy ways to have amazing floral arrangements without costing a lot! Here are a few of our favorites: Choose seasonal flowers. Reuse ceremony arrangements (bouquets, altar arrangements, etc.) in your reception. Mix flowers with non-floral elements like greenery or candles
-What services does a wedding florist provide?
A wedding florist provides a variety of services, some of which might not be obvious at first.
1.Consultation: Your wedding florist will meet with you to discuss your vision for your wedding—your venue, your wedding style, your desired color palette, and the types of flowers you like and dislike. Your florist will then create a proposal which will describe the arrangements he or she will create as well as the prices.
2.Samples: After you’ve signed a contract and shortly before your wedding, your florist may also provide sample arrangements to ensure that you’re on the same page about how your wedding-day flowers will look.
3.Flowers: A big part of your wedding flower budget will go to the actual purchasing of the flowers. It actually takes several hours for a florist to put a flower order together—and the flowers your florist will receive from his or her wholesaler or grower are far better quality than the ones you can buy at your local grocery store. They’re grown especially to be featured at events and are hand-selected for their quality.
4.Flower processing and storage: Once your flowers arrive to Flower Jam, we will take several hours (often a whole day!) to process your flowers (taking thorns off of roses, counting the flowers, etc.) and storing them in a refrigerated space to ensure they look amazing on your wedding day.
5.Labor and production: Now, it’s time for your florist to create those beautiful arrangements! Each arrangement takes time to design (probably more than you would think!), so it’s quite a long process.
6.Delivery and set up: Flower Jam team will then bring your arrangements to your venue. A good amount of work needs to be done on premises to make sure that your ceremony and reception looks picture-perfect, from the altar to the reception table arrangements.
7.Cleanup: After your wedding, our florists will go to your venue to remove all of the arrangements, and assist with cleanup.
So hopefully I have convinced you of the value of investing in beautiful flowers for your wedding ceremony. Even if you are getting married on top of a mountain, in front of a waterfall, or in a botanic gardens, there is still reason to add your own personalized floral arrangements to your ceremony space.
